Combating corruption

In 11/06/2009 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On the liability of legal persons for corruption offenses." This Act will come into effect from 1 January 2010. Pursuant to the Act, Cabinet of Ministers approved the Procedure for the accumulation and release of information on legal persons prosecuted for corruption offenses. According to the document, the information should be prepared on the basis of the court and contain: • name of the court, which made a decision; • date of the decision and terms of entrance into legal force; • information on legal persons, prosecuted for corruption offenses; • reference to the rule of law on which legal entity held liable. Prior to January 1, 2010 at the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine there will be formed the topic of information on legal persons prosecuted for corruption offenses. Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of 08/12/09, the number 1315, came into force in 01/01.10.
